The tough but excellent Trump International golf course hosts this event for the eighth time. The event is notable for its knockout format with a cut at both 36 and 54 holes at which stage only the top 8 scoring players from round three enter an 18 hole shoot out for the $1 million first prize. It is essential here to hit the small, sloping greens but even then players face a considerable challenge in trying to read the brutish Bermuda grain. Local players based in Florida have a good record here.
OUTRIGHT: Cristie Kerr 0.5 pts win or place 16/1
As a local Floridian Kerr knows the course and, above all, the greens well. Her record here in the last five years is excellent with two consecutive top three finishes in 2003 and 2004 followed by a fourth place last year. Crucially she comes into this event high on confidence on the back of a win and four top ten places since late August.

OUTRIGHT: Yani Tseng 0.5 pts win or place 25/1
These odds surely represent value on a player who, Ochoa apart, is arguably one of the best players on Tour this year. Having recorded a maiden Tour win and seven top three finishes this year Tseng looks to be underrated by the compilers probably due to a poor finish in last week’s event in Mexico.
